Country Thunder Alberta 2018 - An Audio Love Review

Country Thunder Alberta is a three day festival packed to the brim with country music, fun, food, and booze, in an atmosphere that is always full of respect and peace. The Prairie Winds Park grounds in Calgary were very well monitored by security guards and the police presence was palpable.

With all that being said, the quality of the festival was so high that you were guaranteed at the end of the day to have those in attendance hungry for more music!

Returning for its third year , it is no surprise to note that each year has seen the popularity and number of attendees continue to rise. The geographical reach of this festival has also been impressive, with attendees hailing from as far out as Europe and even Asia.

Some of the attendees for this years festival had already purchased their tickets for 2019 and we think this may have something to do with the fact that one secret is out; namely that Jason Aldean will be the Sunday night headliner at the festival next year.

This year’s lineup included: Dierks Bentley, Toby Keith, Eric Church, The Cadillac Three, Dean Brody, Midland, Chad Brownlee, Restless Heart, Kentucky Headhunters, Drew Gregory, Madeline Merlo, Jess Moskaluke, Hunter Brothers, Bryan White, who invited a surprise guest Paul Brandt, Ryan Lindsay, and last but not least Renegade Station.
