Country Thunder USA the Nation's Premier Country Music and Camping Festival offers several campgrounds for you to choose from. Enjoy your time camping under the stars. You can reserve your campsites online, over the telephone, or space available, at the event.

(We don't recommend you wait that long - camping fills up FAST!)

All camping begins no earlier than 7:00am on Tuesday July 15th, 2008. Camping ends at 9am on Monday, July 20th, 2008. Camping is classified as primitive as there are no water or electric hook ups.

Below you can see a description of the different campgrounds.

General Camping

Site Size: 20’ X 40’

is known for its fun loving campers. Classified as Primitive Camping no electricity or water hook ups available. 1 sleeping quarters (tent/RV) per campsite. No Tents over 20’ X 20’. RV’s over 40’ must either purchase 1 Big Rig Campsite or 2 General or 2 Preferred Campsites. 1 vehicle may park at each campsite. You may purchase additional Extra Overnight parking pass to park in the overnight parking lot. Illegally parked vehicles WILL be towed.

Anyone entering the Campgrounds must have a 4 day Event Wristband and a Campground Entrance Wristband. Each campsite comes with (2) Campground Entrance Wristbands. Additional Wristbands may be purchased online or by calling us directly at 262-279-6960.

Gas/Diesel generators allowed-must turn off as specified in campground rules.

Quiet time is 2am–7am

Big Rig Campsites

Site Size: 25’X 45’

New in 2006 for our BIG RIG Campers - is the Big Rig Campground. Big Rig sites are located within the Preferred Camping area. (Row HH) You can reserve a Big Rig site with or without water & electric.

Note: sites with water & electric (water is a hook up, and 1 sewer pump).

We also offer Big Rig sites without water & electric.

Limited sites available. Maximum size RV allowed is 45 feet long.

Preferred Campsites

Site Size 25’X40’

Camping under the Stars. Typically known to be a little quieter than General Camping.

Located on the rolling hillside along Hwy O.

1 Sleeping quarters (tent/RV) per campsite. No tents over 20’X 20’. RV’s over 40’ must purchase either 1 Big Rig site or 2 Preferred or 2 General Campsites.

Gas/Diesel generators allowed – must turn off as specified in campground rules.

Quiet time is 1am–7am

CAMPING RULES

Rules, rules, rules, everywhere there are rules. Yes we have rules too. The rules are enacted to help achieve a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Thank you in advance for your compliance.

1. Every person entering the campgrounds must wear a 4-Day Wristband. NO EXCEPTIONS

2. Every person entering the campgrounds MUST ALSO WEAR a Camping Wristband. NO EXCEPTIONS

3. Every campsite must be registered to 1 responsible 18 years of age adult. NO EXCEPTIONS

4. Every campsite must be kept clean - registrants for unkempt sites will be fined or removed without refund

5. Any campsite found to be left unclean will result in a $50 charge applied to the purchaser's credit card.

6. Under Age Drinking is NOT permitted in the campgrounds or on the event grounds. NO EXCEPTIONS

7. If you have a 1-Day ticket, you must purchase a 4-Day GA ticket to enter the campgrounds. NO EXCEPTIONS

8. No Ground Fires Allowed. Weather permitting; campfires permitted in confined containers with bottoms.

Containers may be Maximum of 30" high by 36" in diameter. Limited number of containers available for rent at site.

9. You may burn firewood ONLY - NO burning of processed or scrap lumber

10. No ATV's, Golf Carts, Quads, Mopeds, Bicycles, Skateboards, Roller blades, Scooters or any similar devices.

11. No cruising or riding in the back of open vehicles

12. No Glass Containers of any kind - if found on your site you will be fined or removed without refund

13. No Parking on Campground Roads. If illegally parked, your vehicle will be towed and impounded with a fine

14. One vehicle allowed per campsite. Additional vehicles will be parked in the overnight camp parking area

15. Any vehicle parked on a campsite must have a parking sticker / credential that corresponds with that campsite

16. One sleeping quarters (tent or RV) allowed per campsite

17. No Weapons Allowed into the Campgrounds or Event Grounds

18. No items that promote illegal activity, violence, profanity, or discriminatory references

(includes confederate flag) are allowed in the campgrounds or on the event grounds.

19. All Generators (gas/diesel) must be turned off at 1:00am : Unless posted otherwise (be kind to your neighbors)

20. Quiet Time must be observed. Normal conversation level ONLY during specified quiet times.

21. Country Thunder USA reserves the right to restrict traffic in the campgrounds at any time

22. No charging for Private / Public Parties - includes food, beverage, and entertainment, or any item

23. Place all bagged and tied garbage in containers for 6:00am pick-up (help keep the greenspace green)

24. No thong swimsuits or thong type outer apparel allowed in campgrounds or event grounds

25. Deposit ($150) is required if you are dropping off camping equipment (2Hour Maximum setup time)

26. No beverage containers over 2 liters allowed

27. No animals allowed

28. No overnight parking in daily lots (VIP/General) - After 2:00am it will be towed and impounded with fine/s

29. No portable bars

30. Karaoke is allowed up to quiet time within each campground. No disc jockey's

31. No dance floors

32. No staging

33. No swimming pools

34. No household furniture

35. Maximum tent size is 20' x 20'

36. No portable fresh water containers over 30 gallons

37. No jacked up vehicles allowed into campgrounds - vehicle door must be NO higher off the ground than 24"

38. CTUSA strictly prohibits the sale or distribution of any materials on event site or in campgrounds

without prior written permission from CTUSA.

39. All sales are final, no exchanges or refunds

Required Credentials Anyone entering the campgrounds MUST wear a 4-Day Wristband AND a Campground Admittance Wristband. All camp units (tents included) MUST have a Campground Sticker. All vehicles must be appropriately parked. One Vehicle allowed to park on each campsite.

Clean Campsites All campers will receive garbage bags upon entering the campgrounds. Please bag and tie all your garbage. For your convenience dumpsites and trash barrels will be located throughout the campgrounds. Please be courteous to your neighbors. Campsites must be kept neat and clean throughout the event, and must be completely cleaned before you leave the grounds at the end of the event. Fines will apply. See also the $50 charge for campsites left a mess upon your departure.

Permitted Campfires Campfires will be allowed weather permitting only. If campfires are allowed, they must be in confined containers. Firewood only, No burning scrap lumber. All fires must be in accordance with Kenosha County regulations as well as Country Thunder USA policy. CTUSA reserves the right to disallow any campfire as management sees fit.
